Chief Marketing Officer
Chris Brandt joined Chipotle as Chief Marketing Officer in April 2018. Prior to joining Chipotle, Mr. Brandt was Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer of Bloomin’ Brands, Inc. from May 2016 through December 2017. Mr. Brandt was previously Chief Brand Officer/Chief Marketing Officer for Taco Bell, a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, Inc., from May 2013 to May 2016, and was a Senior Director and Vice President of Marketing for Taco Bell from November 2010 to May 2013. Mr. Brandt has an undergraduate degree in Economics from UC San Diego and an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.
Chief Digital and Information Officer
Curt Garner was appointed Chief Digital and Information Officer in March 2017. Mr. Garner joined Chipotle in November 2015 as Chief Information Officer, and prior to that had worked for Starbucks Corp. for 17 years, most recently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Mr. Garner has a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from The Ohio State University. He serves as a director of Aerohive Networks, Inc. (NYSE: HIVE).
Chief Financial Officer
John R. (Jack) Hartung is Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Hartung joined Chipotle in 2002 after spending 18 years at McDonald's where he held a variety of management positions, most recently as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of its Partner Brands Group. Mr. Hartung has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and economics as well as an MBA from Illinois State University.
Chief Communications Officer
Laurie Schalow is Chief Communications Officer. Prior to joining Chipotle, Ms. Schalow was Vice President of Public Affairs for Yum! Brands overseeing Global Corporate Social Responsibility, PR, Crisis Management, Social Listening and Community Diversity programs for the 44,000 KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell restaurants in 140 countries. Laurie holds a B.S. Degree in Business from Miami University and received her Master of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve and Wayne State University. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Muhammad Ali Center and Chairs the Maryhurst Board.
Chief Human Resources Officer
Marissa Andrada joined Chipotle as Chief Human Resources Officer in April 2018. Prior to joining Chipotle, Ms. Andrada was Senior Vice President of Human Resources & Chief Human Resources Officer at Kate Spade & Company from July 2016 through October 2017, and Senior Vice President of Partner Resources for Starbucks Coffee Company from November 2010 to March 2016. Prior to Starbucks, she served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at GameStop Corporation and Head of Human Resources at Red Bull North America. Ms. Andrada has a Masters of Business degree from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science degree from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona.
Chief Restaurant Officer
Scott Boatwright joined Chipotle as Chief Restaurant Officer in May 2017, and has assumed direct accountability for all restaurant operations. Prior to Chipotle, Scott spent 18 years with Arby’s Restaurant Group in various leadership positions, including for the last six years as the Sr. Vice President of Operations, where he was responsible for the performance of over 1,700 Arby’s restaurants in numerous states. Scott holds an MBA from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University.
