Scott Boatwright

Scott Boatwright is the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Chipotle. Mr. Boatwright has served as Chipotle’s Interim Chief Executive Officer since August 2024. He joined Chipotle in May 2017 and, in his previous roles as Chipotle’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Restaurant Officer, he has had direct accountability for all of Chipotle’s restaurant operations. Prior to Chipotle, Mr. Boatwright spent 18 years with Arby’s Restaurant Group in various leadership positions. He most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Operations, where he was responsible for the performance of over 1,700 Arby’s restaurants in numerous states. Mr. Boatwright currently serves on the board of directors of Academy Sports and Outdoors, Inc. and is a member of the National Restaurant Association’s Fast Casual Industry Council. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University.
